CPI Condemns BJP Attack on Tripura CPI Office
Communist Party of India General Secretary D RAJA issued the following statement today (on November 26, 2020) condemning the attack on the Tripura CPI State Council office:
The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India strongly condemns the attack and subsequent total destruction of Tripura state council office of the Communist Party of India at Agartala.
BJP goons ransacked the party office at 11a.m. (today) on November 26, 2020. They continued the attack for almost one hour and destroyed the whole building and materials inside. This happened on the day when workers and farmers are on National General Strike against the retrograde policies of the Modi government.
The attack exposes the desperateness and intolerance of the BJP-RSS combine. The Party would like to warn the RSS-BJP combine that the undemocratic fascist attacks cannot deter the Communist Party of India from working among the people who are fighting against the anti-people, anti-worker and anti-farmer policies of the government.
The Party appeals to all democratic, secular and progressive forces to come out in protest against the BJP vandalism. The Party demands the authorities to take immediate action against the goons.
