CPI Condoles Demise of Comrade M C Narasimhan
Communist Party of India General Secretary D Raja issued the following press release today (June 11, 2020) condoling the death of Karnataka Party leader Com M C Narasimhan:
The Communist Party of India deeply condoles the death of Party leader Com M C Narasimhan, former State Control Commission Chairman and Senior Advocate.
Com Narasimhan former MLA and MLC passed away at 5 p.m., on June 10, 2020 at his Basveshwarnagar residence. He was a veteran trade union leader and a renowned advocate who will be always remembered for his legal acumen in the landmark Rajanna vs BWWSB case the verdict of which helped expand the definition of the term ‘Industry’ ensuring millions of workers were covered under the Industrial Disputes Act.
The Party sends its heartfelt to the bereaved members of his family and Party’s Karnataka State Council. Raja conveyed his condolences to the Party state secretary over phone.
