CPI Expresses Concern over Communal Violence in Bangladesh
The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued today (on October 16, 2021) the following statement:
The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India expresses its serious concern over the sudden outbreak of communal violence and clashes in Bangladesh.
The Party notes that the rise in the communal activities in the region is endangering peace, tranquillity and amity among the people and appeals to all concerned to ensure that such rightwing reactionary forces are isolated and their moves defeated.
The Party hopes that the government of Bangladesh will take stringent adequate measures to put an end to divisive communal activity in the bud itself.
