Vietnamese Delegation Visits CPI Headquarters
A five-member delegation from Communist Party of Vietnam led by Huynh Tan Viet, secretary of Phu Yen provincial committee and chairman of the Phu Yen Province People’s Committee which is on an official visit to India called on Communist Party of India general secretary D Raja on October 16, 2019.
D Raja explained in detail the present political and economic situation in India and the series of struggles the party is conducting to ameliorate the suffering of people.
The delegation leader explained the situation in Vietnam and development in the region.
Both the leaders expressed their satisfaction over the growing party-to-party relations which have a long history. They also agreed to strengthen further the bilateral ties as well as the people-to-people relations.
The delegation was accompanied by the ambassador and counsellor of the embassy of Vietnam in India. CPI national council secretaries Dr K Narayana and Binoy Viswam, M.P. were also present at the meeting.
