Today, I visited the displaced residents of Madrasi Camp (Jangpura), who have been relocated to Pocket G7, Narela, along with Prof. Dinesh Varshney, Secretary of CPI Delhi State. CPI Delhi Secretariat members Shankarlal and Sanjeev Kumar Rana, State Council member Baban Kumar Singh, and local comrades were also present. The people shared their painful experiences: No clean drinking water — only saline water is supplied, forcing them to buy water at ₹10 per bucket. Many homes still have no electricity connections. No public transport — daily travel from 5 AM to 10 PM has become a harsh reality. Children’s education is disrupted, there are no health facilities, and no access to ration or essential commodities. I assured them that the Communist Party of India will continue to raise these issues at every level. We will seek a meeting with the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, in the coming days to press for immediate action. This is not just a question of rehabilitation — it is a question of dignity, justice, and the right to live with basic human rights.
