The Communist Party of India while condemning the betrayal of Indian people by Nitish Kumar, has alleged that he has fallen for the sinister designs of RSS-BJP combine which is working to grab power using whatever means.
As chief minister of Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar, he had hosted a meeting of all opposition parties in Patna. Opposition parties who attended the meeting expressed their common resolve to defeat the BJP to protect the nation, our Constitution and democracy. The slogan of “BJP Hatao, Desh Bachao” was declared in the meeting. However, now Nitish Kumar has joined the same anti-people BJP. This action is a clear betrayal of the objective of removing BJP from power.
There is great discontent against BJP’s misrule. CPI calls upon the people to rise against BJP’s nefarious designs and teach both BJP and Nitish Kumar a lesson in the forthcoming elections.
