CPI General Secretary D. Raja to Visit Sri Lanka for Party Anniversary Celebrations

At the invitation of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka, Communist Party of India General Secretary Comrade D. Raja will visit Sri Lanka from 2 to 7 July 2026 to participate in the 83rd anniversary celebrations of the founding of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka. The visit has been organised at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka.


During the visit, Comrade D. Raja will hold discussions with the leadership of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka and representatives of the fraternal Left parties of Sri Lanka. He will participate in the anniversary celebrations and interact with comrades, intellectuals and working people in different parts of the country. The programme includes visits to Colombo, Kandy, Anuradhapura and Jaffna, where he will also meet members of the fishing community and visit the Jaffna Public Library.

Comrade D. Raja is scheduled to return to India on 7 July 2026.
