🇵🇸 CPI Slams Global Silence on Gaza Starvation 💔✊

The Communist Party of India (CPI) expresses its deep anguish and serious concern over the horrific and inhuman deaths by starvation taking place in Gaza. The deliberate withholding of food, water, and humanitarian aid from a besieged civilian population by the Zionist Israeli regime constitutes a clear war crime and a blatant act of genocide. It is an appalling indictment of the so-called international community that this mass starvation and slaughter of innocent Palestinians, including children, continues unabated.
The CPI holds the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union equally complicit in this ongoing genocide. These powers have not only shielded Israel diplomatically at the United Nations but have also continued to arm, fund, and legitimize its criminal war campaign. Their brazen support for the Zionist regime, in full knowledge of its atrocities, exposes the complete moral bankruptcy of the West’s human rights rhetoric.
We also express serious concern at the failure of the United Nations and other international humanitarian agencies, whose inability or unwillingness to intervene decisively has contributed to this humanitarian catastrophe. Their inaction has emboldened the aggressor and deepened the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The Communist Party of India strongly condemns the role of the Government of India, which has shamefully aligned itself with the Israeli war machine by continuing arms sales and defence cooperation, even as the world watches a genocide unfold. This stance is a complete betrayal of India’s long-standing support for the Palestinian cause and a disgraceful departure from its anti-colonial, non-aligned legacy.
CPI calls upon the Indian Parliament to immediately pass a resolution condemning Israel’s genocidal war and starvation campaign in Gaza, to demand an end to all arms deals with Israel, and to express unequivocal solidarity with the people of Palestine. The Indian people must not be made complicit in crimes against humanity.
The CPI reiterates its unwavering support to the just struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom, dignity, and an independent sovereign state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
