🚨 Delhi Basti Demolished! CPI Fights Back Against BJP's "Beautification" Bulldozers šŸ’„šŸšļø

Today a very high-level delegation of Communist Party of India, (CPI)Delhi State Council led by Com. K. Narayana CPI, National Secretary accompanied by Prof. Dinesh Varshney Secretary CPI Delhi State Council, Com. Shankarlal,Keher Singh, Absar Ahmed Secretariat members of CPI Delhi State and Babban Kumar Singh State Council member visited demolition site of MADARASI CAMP, Jangpura B basti.Ā  While talking to the affected people the delegation came to know that they are living here since last 50 to 60 years after coming from TAMILNADU. These people living in this basti belongs to the poorest of the poorest citizens of Delhi. They are working as daily wagers, domestic workers, safari karamcharies and small vendors etc.

Now the BJP DELHI GOVERNMENT on the name of beautification have started demolitions and want to send them 50 K.M. away from the present site to Narela. The government intentions are malafide because of false pretext of waterlogging in 2024 they want to eliminate these poor people huts, jhuggis. This waterlogging is caused by metro rail construction. They are other means to clear seasonal waterlogging. Real fact is that by removing this basti from present place the government wants to handover this land to their corporate cronies.

While addressing the media and the affected people there Com. K. Narayana said that CPI demands these poor people should be given houses their itself by constructing multi story building so that their livelihood, employment and their children education can be saved. Narayana further said that BJP government by eliminating these poor people basties from present places want to implement their Hindutva policy to remove all poor people, SC'S/ST, from the main boundaries of Delhi city. The BJP is behaving like kings of Ancient India. The CPI will not allow this and will continue its agitation in support of these poorest of the poorest citizens of Delhi.
