A five-member delegation of Communist Party of India led by General Secretary D. Raja visited the violence affected state of Manipur from 21st August, 2023 to 24th August, 2023. The delegation met the victims of violence and expressed solidarity with them. The delegation assured them all support. The delegation consisted of CPI national council secretaries Binoy Viswam MP, Dr K Narayana, Rama Krushna Panda and Asomi Gogoi, senior CPI women leader from Assam.
The delegation will call on Hon’ble Smt. Droupadi Murmu, President of India at 4:30 p.m. on August 29, 2023 (Tomorrow) to appraise her of the ground reality in Manipur.
